Have you heard of Aloe Ferox?
Many Americans have not, although its well know in most of the rest of the world.
Until a couple of years ago, when I started taking it, I hadn’t heard of it either.
So what is it? Aloe Ferox is a member of the Aloe family. It’s more or less the Super-Hero of the group with 20 times the amount of aloin (aloe’s active ingredient) as the more ordinary Aloe Vera.
Called the “King of Aloes” and “Pharmacy in a Plant” Aloe Ferox is indigenous to the Cape in South Africa and contains over 130 biological active compounds including amino acids, minerals, vitamins, polysaccharides, glycoproteins, anthraquinones, enzymes, lignins, chlorophyll, saponins, sterols and other plant chemicals that strengthen and support the body. It was first exported from South Africa in the 1600’s. It has been used for centuries as an effective natural remedy for constipation and as a detoxifier. How often do you get to take a product with a centuries long track record?
